I love to use peppermint on a very regular basis. I was shocked when doing my research and on Pubmed there is over 1000 studies on the benefits. Personally I love to inhale deep if my head begins to hut and I feel revitalised. I also use a drop on the end of my nose for nausea which I used to suffer from on a daily basis. I literally use in my face wash, toothpaste and mouthwash for cleansing and I love to drink to help my tummy stay calm.
The peppermint plant is a hybrid of watermint and spearmint and was first described by Carl Linneaus in 1753. A high Menthol content- like that found in my favourite Peppermint Essential Oil- distinguishes the best quality from other products.
